Ecuador: Elite Flower acquires QualisA

QualisA announced a new chapter for the company as it passes on into new ownership. Elite Flower, also a privately owned farm and - with more than 700 ha - one of the world's largest flower companies, will continue the legacy and footprint left by Peter van der Deijl & family, owner and managing director of QualisA.

Peter states: "We strongly believe that with this transaction, our clients, our co-workers, and our brand will be treasured and will continue in the business for many decades. There couldn't be a better time to sell our farms than right now. Business has been good, and the farms are at their best, thanks to a fantastic team. Elite Flower will continue to grow the highest quality clients have come to appreciate and trust over the last three decades, backed by a strong commitment to exceptional standards."

"We are confident that Elite Flower will unfold new opportunities for the future and thank all our relations in the business for their trust and commitment to our company during all these years".

QualisA is Dutch owned Ecuadorian company that has been committed to producing high-quality cut roses and was established by the family Van der Deijl in 1992. The farm's acreage is about 30 ha and located at an altitude of 2,850 meters above sea level.
