An impression of this in-person (!) event:

NL: Positive vibes at Decorum Spring Fair

The Decorum Spring Fair is one of the first in-person show since the start of the pandemic. Yesterday and today, Dutch growers of flowering plants of Decorum gather in the flowerbulb nursery HL Hogevorst in Noordwijk and are presenting their assortment for the coming (summer) months. Clients were invited to come and check out the products for time blocks of two hours.

The atmosphere was excellent: no big crowds of course, a nice sunny day and the good sales so far resulted in positive vibes. Our colleagues of BPnieuws.nl visited the fair and gives a short impression below.

Tom Grootscholte of Sion Orchids, at Decorum one of the four orchid growers.

Levy van der Bos of Richplant, who is presenting a new assortment of caladium.

Jordie Schreurs and Diederik van Dijk (Not in the picture but also part of the sales team is Yvet Bosma) of Bernhard Orchid. This company joined Decorum the beginning of this year.

Jasmijn van den Burg and Teun van Geest of Vreugdenhil, who presented their new assortment as well as their new look. On the left: Fiona van den Berg of OZ Plant.

Thijmen Blom of Slijkerman Kalanchoe. A recent introduction is 'Debora', a kalanchoe without flowers.

Jeffrey Ammerlaan of Ammerlaan-Sosef. The 'Vintage' is a variety that stands out by it's vintage look. It is a niche product and the interest is high.

Anita Kap of Fa. Freek van der Velden. Soon, the EK will start and this grower is presenting their matching pot covers.

Michel van Kester of Van Schie Potlelies

The host of the Spring Fair, Gert-Jan Hogervorst. This growers makes 'bulb-on-pot' arrangements and during this time of the year, he is shipping out his last shipments and the first new bulbs will come in,  so perfect timing to host a fair like this.

Vincent ten Have of Ten Have Plant. The campanula growers celebrates her 100th anniversary this year.

The Decorum growers that are present are: Ammerlaan-Sosef, Bernhard Orchids, Duijn-Hove, Freek van der Velden, FlorXL, H.L. Hogervorst, Hofland Flowering Plants, J&P Ten Have, Junglestar, Lionplant, Orchios, Richplant, Sion, SlijkermanKalanchoƫ, Ten Have Plant, Van den Berg De Lier, Van der Voort Potplanten, Van Schie Potlelies and Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants.
