"Greenhouse climate control is an important part of efficient production and stable yields. The company, founded in 1949 in Barnstorf, Germany, specializes in developing and production of high-pressure fogging systems for greenhouses. Their Lubing GreenTec fogging system was designed for effective humidification and cooling of the air in greenhouses.
The water is supplied into the air as fog at a pressure of 70 bar via special high-pressure nozzles. The water fog evaporates immediately and removes the thermal energy from the air so that the air temperature is lowered and at the same time the humidity is increased.
With the special high-pressure nozzles with a hole of 0.2 mm and a water pressure of 70 bar, it produces the smallest water droplets (Ø 0.005 mm). This drop size cannot be achieved with a low-pressure system. Only with these tiny droplets growers can achieve rapid evaporation and prevent the drop formation on the plants. With the extensive range of accessories, the system can be optimal adapted to individual needs. "We always focus on quality. For example, all components placed in the greenhouse are made of high-quality stainless steel," they say.
The fogging system can be connected with an existing climate computer through the touchscreen controls. The interactive control monitors the system and protects the pump unit from running dry or the overload of the motor. Additionally, it can be run as an independent climate computer controlling the temperature and relative humidity in the greenhouse.
The high-pressure fog system helps plants to stay in balance with the water supply by the root system and with evaporation rate through the leaves – the stomata remain more open. This increases plant productivity and lowers irrigation and energy costs.
