Events return to São Paulo starting 17 August

The government of São Paulo announced the resumption of events in the state as of yesterday, August 17. The news is likely to heat up and move the flower market.

With these new measures, social events, such as weddings, graduations and birthdays, corporate fairs, among others, can be held with no limit of group sizes.

The measure became possible due to the drop in the occupation of ICUs and improvement in the indicators of the COVID-19 in São Paulo.

Yet, although the resumption begins this Tuesday, the events must take place in compliance with the hygiene and social distancing obligations and protocols. Dance floors are forbidden in the events and the use of masks is still mandatory in the premises of the gatherings.

This way, agglomerations of any nature are still forbidden and can generate fines to the organizers and responsible parties.

The government of the state of São Paulo has announced the resumption of events in the state as of August 17.
