Royal FloraHolland wants to stimulate sustainability in the chain and for that reason has presented the 'Greenovation Award' since 2017. The nominees get a lot of exposure from this. However, that is not the only reason to take part.
1. Essential for the future
Becoming more sustainable is necessary in order to remain successful in the future as an entrepreneur. Sustainable innovations are essential to our future. With the Greenovation Award, Royal FloraHolland aims to provide a platform for the best sustainable product or concept introduction within the sector.
2. Inspiration and motivation
All entries for the Greenovation Award can inspire other entrepreneurs to come up with new ideas or prompt them to put their own spin on innovations they have seen. That way, the Award motivates entrepreneurs to go above and beyond in sustainability. Whether you win or not, you will be exchanging ideas on sustainability just by taking part. It helps keep the focus on sustainability. That's good for your business, for the sector, and for society.
3. The Award and all it entails
The winner of the Greenovation Award will not, of course, go home empty-handed! In addition to a beautiful award made from sustainable material, there is a professional photo and video shoot. The winner will also receive free stand space at the Trade Fair Aalsmeer 2022 and can count on receiving considerable media attention. If your entry is nominated, you get a trading floor presentation.
4. Great story for your customers
The Greenovation Award leads to products and concepts that serve as ingredients for great stories. As an entrepreneur, you can tell those stories to show what the floriculture industry can mean for society. Sharing that story more often reinforces your right to exist in the long term."
Do you also focus on sustainability and are you working on an innovative sustainable product or concept? You might well be eligible for nomination for the Greenovation Award this year. Register your product and put your product or concept in the spotlight!
