Westland employment agencies and nurseries have had great difficulty in finding enough labour migrants of good quality. This is what Martine van der Meer of CombiVliet, grower Walter Zuiderwijk and Rita Kostwinder of NL Jobs told WOS. The issues are partly due to the fact that employment opportunities in the Eastern Bloc countries where many migrant workers come from have improved enormously.
