Magical Hydrangea presented its newest indoor hydrangea during the trade fair Formland last week: the Magical Jewel. At the Scandinavian design event, the plant could look forward to enthusiastic reactions from visiting stylists and designers. The new indoor hydrangea will be available for European garden centers, florists and retail in spring 2022.
Just like the garden plant, the Magical Jewel indoor hydrangea will be on the market in both pink and lilac. The garden plant has already won an award in the Netherlands and received favorable reviews from professionals and consumers. Therefore, it was time for the Danish introduction of the indoor variant. The well-known pink/blue Magical Piaggio was driven to Denmark especially for this purpose.
Beautiful, strong, and available from April 2022
The Magical Jewel, like the rest of the Magical range, will change color three to four times over a period of six months. That is the magic of this plant. Eventually the flowers will turn a beautiful deep red.
The Jewel indoor and garden hydrangeas are both readily available from April 2022 at The Mastergrowers and De Jong Plant, among others.
The lilac variant was presented at the fair. This turned out to be a winner for the Danish public. Marketing Manager Sandra Vijverberg: “It's great to see how crazy people are about this color. Lilac is the color for 2022. This was already apparent from all the positive insta-stories in which Magical was tagged by visitors. The Scandinavian design enthusiasts indicate that they cannot wait for the start of the new season when the Magical Jewel will be available to a wider audience. The Danish public, like the Dutch, is known for being tasteful and critical. It was one of the few trade fairs that went ahead. That combination is the reason that Magical has chosen this design fair as an introductory stage.”
The complete Magical houseplant collection consists of 5 varieties in different pot sizes. The Magical garden plant collection consists of 14 varieties. Go to www.magicalhydrangea.com to find a complete overview of the species. The majority will be available again from April.
