India: Florist celebrates Olympic victories with flowers

Indian florist Sneh congratulates the Olympic medalists in a unique way, by creating Olympic floral designs. Pandharinath Mhaske has constructed the five Olympic rings as well as the torch, and decorated them with Dutch red roses, white chrysanthemums, orchids, baby's breath, heliconia, gerberas and and local kamini as foliage. Photographs of the Olympic winners were added as well.

Mhaske says: "People love floral art and very much appreciate supporting the national victories. Seeing peoples' happiness always encourages and inspires me to perform even better every time I work with flowers." This year, India has achieved its best ever Olympic achievement in Tokyo.
