On August 3rd, 2021, the trial evaluation day welcomed hundreds of people, with over 150 voting participants. From these votes, 5 varieties per category with the most voted scores are chosen and narrowed down to one top winner. They are over the moon to say that they stole the “Best Rudbeckia” category as well, with Ophelia coming in strong in 1st place, followed by Luna in 2nd, Paulina in 3rd, Carolina in 4th, and Laura in 5th. No other Rudbeckia series made it into the top 5, which is quite a feat in itself. Flamingo Holland is thrilled to be working with a breeder, Hartwig Bull, on his extraordinary product. What an honor for it to win “Best in Show.”
