33% more foreign visitors
For their 50th edition, this year’s Iberflora was more than satisfactory, according to the organizers. “A total of 10.149 green sector professionals visited the event during the three days of the fair, which is 38% more than in 2019. Also, this year the international character of the event returned with full force. A total of 1.068 foreign professionals attended, which is a 33% increase compared to 2019. These foreign visitors came all the way from France, Portugal, Denmark, The Netherlands, and we even had Asian, American, and Russian attendees.”
“A reflection of the sector”
“The fair has been a reflection of the positivity that the sector is currently experiencing,” reflects the president of Iberflora, Raul Ferrer, who appreciated all the efforts made by the organizing committee for this year’s edition. The director of the fair, Miguel Bixquert, notes that the green sector is currently experiencing the best period it has had for at least 20 years. “You can see that during the fair as well. Many exhibitors have already made reservations for 2023-2025.”
