Coming November, the Ninth International Floriculture Symposium Siflor2021 will take place in Quito, Ecuador. Siflor2021 will be held from November 23th to 25th. The farm tours will take place on the next day, November 26th.
The technical conferences are directed to technicians and agriculture engineers. In the meantime, the management conferences are organized especially for sales teams, general managers, administrative staff and other agriculture branches. This year, speakers come from Ecuador, the USA, Europe, Central America, and Brasil.
The technical and management programs include talks on topics like logistics, flower businesses, US Wholesalers, energy-related technologies for flower production, plant physiology, sustainable soil management, rose diseases management, vase life extension research, and the use of organic and biological options for pest and disease control. In addition, the management program will present topics such as human talent development, circular economy, and sustainable environmental solutions.
