Virtual Field Day: October 27 2021, 3-5PM Singapore Time

Tropical Sun: Showing growers new varieties that can stand heat and humidity

This Virtual Field Day hosted by Gardens by the Bay will provide growers and landscapers with information on new varieties of flowering plants for tropical sunny landscapes. Since the opening in 2012, more than 50 million visits have been made to Gardens by the Bay. See the video below for a sneak peek of this week's Virtual Field Day:



Over 150 cultivars were evaluated for this trial. "In the virtual field day, we will highlight some of the top-performing plants: Begonia, Coleus, Celosia, Dianthus, Impatiens, Pentas, Petunia, Portulaca, Sunflower, Zinnia, Gomphrena, Vinca, Zinnia," says Carly Anderson of Gardens by the Bay.

Join the Virtual Field Day, to gain tips and info on new varieties to grow for the booming landscape market in 2022. "There will be presentations from Gardens by the Bay about our 2021 flower trials, as well as from industry plant breeding specialists about their best plant varieties for the tropical sun."
