Van Helvoort Company takes over Chrysanthemum nursery in The Netherlands

As of 1 January 2022, Van Helvoort Company (VHC) will take over the Chrysanthemum nursery of Gerard and Rianne Satter in Poederoijen.

VHC will continue to produce the current production - various Chrysanthemum varieties for the retail market - in consultation with customers. In time, VHC will expand the production of its Santini acreage. Through the acquisition, the production will grow to approximately 110 million stems per year and the acreage to 21.5 hectares.

"We are pleased to be able to realize this expansion," said Evert van Helvoort. "After the recent acquisition of 2.5 hectares in Brakel, we still see growth for our company and our product. Due to intensive cooperation with our customers and the demand for one-stop shopping for Santini, we see the need to continue to grow. With this new acquisition, we can continue to provide our customers with their demand for our products."

Van Helvoort Company (VHC) is located in Brakel. Gert, Evert, Henk and Frans van Helvoort are in charge of the company.
