A delegation from the Indonesian Embassy of Agriculture and Horticulture visited webshop PLNTS.com to discuss technology and innovation in nurseries. The webshop focuses on selling houseplants, pots, and various interior accessories to (international) customers.
The delegation was in the Netherlands for a working visit and visited the nursery of PLNTS.com. Here, Indonesian growers and co-owner of PLNTS.com, Jesse Mostert, discussed the innovative technologies used in Dutch nurseries.
The parties were brought together by CCI Group, which has already connected several nurseries with the Indonesian embassy in recent years. The Indonesian growers came to see for themselves what knowledge PLNTS.com has to offer and whether the agricultural sector in Indonesia can benefit from this.
Co-owner Jesse Mostert gave the delegation from Indonesia a tour of the 50,000 m2 nursery. He explained the cultivation processes and systems. Photographs were taken and the delegation was amazed. After the tour, opportunities for possible cooperation were discussed.
