Legacy floral brand FTD will once again be hosting FTD’s America’s Cup, a national floral design competition to find the next USA florist to compete in the 2023 Interflora World Cup.
This year’s FTD’s America’s Cup will be held from July 4-8, 2022 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas at the AIFD National Symposium. The winner will be announced on July 8, 2022, at the conclusion of the event, and will go on to represent the brand and nation at the 2023 Interflora World Cup.
All FTD member florists who like working under pressure, appreciate the challenge of time limits, and are experts at thinking on their feet (design competition experience is a plus) are encouraged to apply by an application deadline of December 19, 2021.
To participate, active florists within the FTD network must fill out all application materials by the application deadline, in addition to sending a design portfolio, headshot, bio, and non-refundable application fee of $150 that will be charged to the FTD Member Florist’s account. The competition will include a Theme Piece and Two Surprise Packages, where four final competitors will be selected to move forward and participate in a final Surprise Package live on stage.
