New office in Japan affirms Dümmen Orange’s commitment to the APAC-region

Breeder Dümmen Orange has moved its office in Japan to a new location in the Hamamatsu station-area, Shizuoka prefecture. The new workplace provides a great working environment for the company’s 19 employees in Japan to realize the company’s ambitious growth plans and build on its success in the APAC region.
“Dümmen Orange has a long and proud legacy of breeding world class floriculture genetics in Japan for over 10 years,” says Nick Bennett, President and Head of Dümmen Orange Asia Pacific. “By further investing in the company’s infrastructure and capabilities in Japan, we are reaffirming our commitment that we see a prosperous future with Japanese growers. We are honored through this evolution of Dümmen Orange in Japan to be able to focus on working closely with growers and value chain partners to inspire consumers and create a better, more beautiful Japan.”

The values of the company, which operates worldwide, are clearly reflected in the set-up of the new office. One of its features is a small, open showroom. “We would like it to be a test space where we can consider what kind of products consumers want, display them and get their feedback,” says Tetsuya Obara, Commercial Director in Japan. “Understanding the needs of consumers and then proposing ideas to our customers is very important for us. In this way we ensure that we are successful together.”

Mayuko Mito, Marketing Manager, who led the relocation project, says: “Design and furnishing of our new office reflect what makes our company and culture so strong: focus, commitment, responsibility and above all: passion. At Dümmen Orange Japan, we are passionate about our business. Therefore, we wanted a passionate environment as well. This new office is a great place to work, and not only underlines our commitment to Japan and our customers here, but also to our colleagues.”
