Suppliers themselves are responsible for providing accurate product photos and information. Reliable product information and photos improve their sales position.
Increasing the reliability of product information and product photos is crucial for the marketplace to operate properly and for improving the purchasing experience of buyers at auction. Research has shown that buyers will often refrain from repeat purchases in the event of a discrepancy in product information and photos.
From 1 January 2023, Royal FloraHolland will monitor the reliability of product information and photos. They will do so with the help of the (updated) Quality Index. In the coming months, they will intensively assist suppliers in structurally improving the reliability of their product information and photos.
Quality index
The Quality Index shows what percentage of the batches is supplied error-free by a supplier. This percentage is based on the number of discrepancies found in the supply information received by growers on auction batches in the past 62 weeks. Growers can view their current QI score at all times in the Quality Index in MyRFH environment. This service can be activated via services in the services catalog.
Suppliers are awarded an A, B or C score based on this percentage. From 1 January 2023, a policy of rewards and levies will be linked to these A, B and C scores. The exact implementation of this will be determined by suppliers and buyers in the coming weeks. You will receive more information about this soon.
It is therefore extra important that suppliers get the reliability of their product information and photos right as soon as possible. We are happy to assist you in this.
