"Since the pandemic, a lot of people from outside the States were able to travel again. Visitors from Japan, Europe, and Australia were included again this year," says Sirekit Mol of Beekenkamp, who exhibited at a new location this year.

The new location Beekenkamp exhibited was the Greenfuse Botanicals premises in Somis. "A beautiful ranch, where the Greenfuse team worked really hard to make CAST 2022 happen as the building activities for the greenhouses were only just finished recently", she says. Also breeders Hem Genetics, Westhoff, Schoneveld, and first-time CAST exhibitor Vitroflora were at this location.

The new venue has been a success as there was a great buzz at the Greenfuse facilities. "Because of the diversity of the exhibitors, this is a worthy stop for everyone," said Sirekit Mol from Beekenkamp Plants. “I'm over the moon with the turnout and very pleased people took time to visit us”, agrees Jim Devereux, GreenFuse Botanicals.

At the same time, there were more new locations, like Santa Barbara Polo Club, but most importantly loads of new, potential and existing products were on display at all the CAST venues.

At Sakata for example; while there are no new colors this year for SuperCal, Sakata is super excited to announce their brand new SuperCal consumer site that was launched on Saturday April 02, 2022. "SuperCal is a heavy focus for us this year as our branding got a beautiful new look late last year and now the beautiful website to accompany it. We’re also ecstatic to have SuperCal branded pots at retail this year."

Keep sending in your pictures!
