Last week, Ruigrok Flowerbulbs received royal visitors. The King and Queen of the Netherlands came by and had a look behind the scenes at several companies. One of these companies was The Tulip Barn in Hillegom, the company of Romy Ruigrok, daugther of Simon and Lian Ruigrok. The young entrepreneur received the King and Queen personally in the cozy greenhouse where they had a conversation about her business. Romy: "this was so awesome!."
Ruigrok Flowerbulbs has planted 400,000 tulips at The Tulip Barn in all kinds of beautiful mixtures that bloom all year through. With all kinds of fun objects in the garden, it is the best place to take photos.
It was a stormy day, but luckily the sun was shining when the royal couple had their photo taken in the garden. The visit lasted half an hour.
