Dutch king and queen visit dune and bulb region

Last Thursday, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima visited the dune and bulb region in South Holland. In the photo below, we see the royal couple visiting the greenhouse of W.F. Leenen. In addition, they talked to representatives of the bulb-growing sector.

The next stop in the village of Hillegom was a tulip field under construction, where a special effort has been made to ensure that large numbers of tourists can take photos of the flowers without destroying the crop. A little further down the road, the Space Campus, which is currently under construction, was visited.
