First Green Trunk Awards announced: who is the Greenfluencer of the year

The Association of Ornamental Plant Traders (Asociación de
Comercializadores de Planta Ornamental - ACPO) announces the First Green Trunk Awards, with the aim of highlighting the green sector as well as the creators of content on social networks.

The competition has 5 categories for the best publication and an additional one for the Best GreenFluencer of the year.

The Association of Ornamental Plant Traders (ACPO) has announced the Green Trunk Awards (Premios Trompa Verde) to find the best greenfluencers in Spain, those people who disseminate publications about ornamental plants and gardening on their social networks. This contest will have 5 different categories for the best publication and an award for the Best Green Influencer.

On the website, you can find all the information about it, as well as register your participation or propose the participation of an influencer from the ornamental plant sector.
Each category will have its own winner chosen by a combination of the popular vote, and the decision of a jury made up of personalities from the sector and experts in social networks. Applications to
take part in the competition can be submitted until 5th June, but you can also nominate a greenfluencer.

The awards for which you can apply are:

  • Best greenfluencer of the year
  • Best publication "Embrace a plant"
  • Best "Houseplants" publication
  • Best outdoor garden publication
  • Best publication "Orchard and fruit trees"
  • Best Plants Care post

Those whose personal or professional profiles on social networks have more than 10,000 followers on at least one of them: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, are eligible to participate.

ACPO points out that the purpose of this call for entries is to recognize the work of content creators in the ornamental plant sector on social networks, who promote interest in the green sector on a daily basis, with plants as the main protagonists, whatever their field. This recognition aims to "boost the visibility of the plant world by bringing it closer to the public in a proactive way and increase awareness of it and highlight the benefits it brings to our society in terms of the ability of plants and their care to promote positive moods and generate healthy lifestyle habits."
