What a milestone!
We have achieved one of the most important goals in our history!
The last years have been many years of renovations to transform our first 3.5 ha of greenhouse, built from 1989 until 1993, into modern systems with water recycling and system treatment. Now finally, we can be proud to have a 100% closed loop production, with a total of 8 ha production. A UNIQUE historical milestone in the flower production business of our country.
But what does this mean exactly?
That everything we use to produce our flowers, supplies such as rainwater, defensive, fertilizers, and biologicals remains within our protected growing environments, taking emissions number to the environment down to 0. Thanks to our water catchment, treatment/recycling system, and beds appropriately being disinfected.
Another important step towards sustainable production is fulfilling our role in our company's environmental responsibility. What comes next?
