Winchester florist sees surge in trade as people buy flowers to lay in memory of the Queen

Following the death of Her Majesty the Queen, a Winchester florist has grown in popularity as people rush to pay their respects. 

The Original Flower Stall, which has been along the High Street for 15 years, has had a busy week as people leave floral tributes across the city. 

 "A lot of people are buying flowers for the Queen of all ages," said the owner David Langridge. 

"Some people are taking them down to the Abbey Grounds, and some people go to The Cathedral. Some people might have a bunch of flowers indoors or a display for their shops."
