Patricia Owczarek has joined the Hopman Flower Farms team as a key account manager. Trish will manage and prospect key accounts on behalf of Hopman's grower portfolio. Trish has been in the flower business for her entire career and has worked in retail and wholesale florist roles, including manager and buyer, in addition to sales.
Trish is also a floral educator. For 16 years, she has taught a floral certificate program at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. Trish's deep understanding of floral merchandising gives her a real advantage when talking shop with category managers. "We are thrilled to have her on board," says company director Lawrence Hopman. "I've known Trish for many years. We worked together in a previous life, and I have always admired her ability to connect and partner with buyers and sellers on all levels".
"She is a real professional, and clients love her. Trish has already opened doors for our growers". Trish bikes and is an avid sports fan, supporting Montreal Canadiens hockey and Toronto Blue Jays baseball. Hopman's is a floral sales outsourcing service. The firm provides mass market sales talent to growers. They also provide marketing, quality control, vendor onboarding, SKU management, and EDI portal management.
The agency offers potted and fresh cut programs as well as hard goods and dormant bulbs. Retailers can cut costs dramatically by buying directly from a portfolio of primary producers rather than from re-sellers.
