Royal Van Zanten takes over activities of Armada Breeding

On January 1, 2023, Royal van Zanten Breeding will take over the range of year-round chrysanthemums, asters, and some smaller products from Armada Breeding.

Armada will continue to exist as an independent party, which means that the products that do not transfer to Van Zanten will be transferred to sister company Decanova Youngplants. This company is one of the major players in the field of garden chrysanthemums and autumn chrysanthemums.

Armada Breeding's employees will partly transfer to Van Zanten. At the same time, there are some employees who - "naturally in mutual agreement," emphasizes director of Armada Holding Gerard Lentjes - are transferring from Armada Breeding to Decanova.

With the takeover of Armada Breeding's activities on January 1, 2023, Van Zanten Breeding's product range will be extended to include their chrysanthemum and aster products.
