50 million USD geothermal greenhouse to be established in Kirsehir, Türkiye

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the investment planned to be built on an area of ​​30 hectares where the geothermal resources are located in the Medetsiz village of the district.

Kirsehir Governor Hudayar Mete Buhari, in his speech at the ceremony, said that the city has great potential in terms of geothermal resources.

Stating that another business will operate in Mucur after the businesses in Mahmutlu in the Cicekdagi district and in Karakurt village of the center, Buhara expressed that this is a big gain for the city. Stating that the entire facility will be established on an area of ​​30 hectares, and the construction of the geothermal glass greenhouse on an area of ​​5 hectares continues.

Buhara said: "It is an investment with very high technology. As a geothermal glass greenhouse, it will be established with the latest technological equipment and capabilities in greenhouse production opened by using the latest technology in Türkiye. With this company, Kirsehir will perhaps experience a cluster in terms of geothermal greenhouses. Maybe we will become one of the important cities of greenhouse production. Here, a facility that we can call an oasis in the desert is rising. We are very happy and proud."

Mehmet Fatih Karamanci, chairman of the board of directors of the company that made the investment, also stated that the investment is planned to be completed in 2 years.

Karamanci stated that they aim to employ 400 people when the facility is completed and that the facility has an investment cost of approximately 50 million USD,
