Breeder Sion Young Plants will be opening its doors exclusively to peers for the "Sion Open November Edition" this November from Monday, the 7th, till Wednesday, the 16th. During the Sion Open, more than 100 Top Models, New Arrivals, and the latest test varieties will be on display at the farm in De Lier. "Sion works closely with a number of leading breeders. Each of their specialties creates an even more complete and unique assortment. We are also proud to announce that we recently entered into a partnership with GE current for LED lighting," says account manager Randy van Paassen.
Looking forward together
"Despite the current economic turmoil, it's important to look ahead. No one knows what next year holds, but we want to send a positive signal to our customers and the industry by investing in the future together. Every day, our breeders are innovating and developing the latest phalaenopsis varieties, the results of which can be seen at Sion Open November. We'll be launching our open days with the Sion Café for an informal drink in an inspiring setting exclusively for our customers. Sion invests in LED technology
Sion has entered into an innovative partnership with GE, currently investing in the future. The entire nursery will be equipped with a hybrid LED system. A special feature of this project is that two departments will also be fully equipped with a 100% LED installation, whose lighting recipe is customizable, which is unique in the industry. With this, Sion will serve as an innovation hub and open up the company to share knowledge and experience.
