Third ∑-Grow Inside Seminar on the way

On Tuesday, December 6, World Horti Center is organizing the third ∑-Grow Inside Seminar. With a new panel of professionals, a new moderator, and an interesting topic, the team is ready to go into a discussion on ‘Which tech level is preferred?’ this December. The event is organized in close cooperation with the community Indoor Farming NL and powered by GreenTech and FarmTech Society.

Which tech level is preferred?
On December 6, the panel will go into a discussion on ‘which tech level is preferred?’. When it comes to the ‘tech level,’ you can think of: dynamic lighting, automation of internal logistics, and data collection and analysis via apps and sensors and how these are used to steer the system. All of these topics are at a high level in the Netherlands, both in indoor farms and high-tech greenhouses. Not all countries are at this same level though, and for those who want to start a vertical farm or greenhouse in one of these countries, it can be a put-off. A high-tech level brings a lot of investment costs, are these growers able to get a financial return on this? Or are they in need of another tech level that better fits their needs?

Line-up
A fresh new panel of professionals is ready to dive into the topic of tech levels. World Horti Center is happy to announce that Ard van de Kreeke (Founder of Growy), Renko Schuil (Business Developer Indoor Farming at TTA), Juriën Koster (International Account Manager at Hortilux), together with someone from Ridder are forming the panel this edition. The discussion will be led by Lisanne Meulendijks (Global R&D Director at &ever), who’s the new moderator of ∑-Grow Inside. She will ask the panel several questions and brings in those of the audience in the room and online participants.
