Netherlands: Amigo Plant in the spotlight at OZ Planten

Amigo Plant is a well-known name in the world of succulents and has an extensive range, including Echeveria, Crassula, Haworthia, Aloe, and Peperomia. What started as a passion for succulents, the family business has grown considerably and now has several locations in the Netherlands and Portugal. Good for about 25 hectares of cultivation area.

Great cooperation in cultivation
Amigo Plant has been taking a new path for two years now. With a new look and new brands, they catch the eye on the shelf. In breeding, the team is constantly developing new varieties. Teamwork makes the dream work, and together they go for varieties that are even stronger, more compact, or more beautiful in color. Achieving the ultimate goal: An even better durability in the floral chain and a longer shelf life. Like they like to say at Amigoplant: Growing by green happiness.

The pursuit of the highest quality is also of paramount importance in cultivation. The cultivation team has developed its own technology, and it is entirely under its own management. Unique in the world of floriculture.

Four recently launched lines are Piccomini, Rosetta, Safari, and Tarantula. Jacco (sales manager) and Patty (product manager) explain in the video above how the new lines came about.
