A peek inside at German carnivorous plant grower Gartenbau Weilbrenner

Brothers Lukas and Philipp Weilbrenner have been running the company Gartenbau Weilbrenner in Freinsheim, Palatinate, since 2019,  together with their father Bernd, specializing in the cultivation of carnivorous plants. After training as a gardener, 29-year-old Philipp first worked in sales at Landgard in Griesheim for three years before joining the family business in 2019. His older brother Lukas, now 32, studied economics for a while but then made the switch to horticulture training in Geisenheim. The brothers were recently awarded a 'young talent award,' and this article (in German) on Landgard nicely highlights the nursery and their ambitions with it.
