This week, the Powerplus Group team started installing LED lamps in four departments at Dutch orchid grower Maarel Orchids.
The current SON-T lamps will be replaced by HORTILED® Top Antares fixtures from Hortilux Schréder. In the next four weeks, a hybrid LED system will be installed in three of the four departments. In the other department, this will be a full LED installation. Maarel chose Ledgnd, a highly regarded lighting consultant in the Netherlands, to design their new system.
Two different installations

Despite previous works in the Netherlands, this will be Powerplus Group’s first horticultural project in the country as the company looks to expand its European operations in CEA.
