Last week, Tulipalooza Festival in North Texas opened its doors. It was planned to open this festival where visitors can take pictures and pick tulips on March 19, but due to the weather, the tulips were ready sooner than expected. Hundreds of thousands of tulip bulbs are imported from Holland and were planted at the Waxahachie Civic Center in December. The event is in full swing and will run till March 19.
"Tulipalooza is an annual tulip festival that brings a burst of color to North Texas while benefiting a dozen local charities," the organization says on their website.
