Green'05 is moving into new headquarters. From 1 February 2023, the company will be the proud owner of abuilding in Bleiswijk that was previously home to plant grower Plantise. The intended move date is scheduled for 1 April 2023.
Why move?
Green'05 has so far used the location in Bergschenhoek to coordinate all its cultivation activities. With several locations in Lansingerland and Westland and a steady growth in sales, the desire arose to work even more efficiently and sustainably.
The move to newer and larger premises is in line with Green'05's ambitions. Director Arco van der Kaaij explains: "Green'05's future success depends on the extent to which we can make the transition from product/market thinking to sustainable/circular thinking. Not just in terms of energy but in all areas, including waste streams, reuse, recycling, and nitrogen. We can only achieve this with fewer, but especially larger, modern sites."
Efficient business
Anyone entering the premises immediately notices the efficiency of both the office and cultivation space. A clear and pleasant ambiance to receive customers with a direct walkthrough to the cultivation area. This is highly efficient and sustainably designed, ideal for continuously improving cultivation performance. In addition, this location has 12 loading docks and a spacious car park. As a supplier of green houseplants and flowering garden plants, it is important to be able to quickly process large volumes of plants and prepare them for transport.
Green'05 is a relatively young but fast-growing and ambitious plant nursery with several locations in Lansingerland and Westland. The company focuses mainly on large and medium-term orders, and its customers are retail, chain stores, and discounters. The company's strength lies in always responding optimally to the customer's wishes, requirements, and interests.
