In cooperation with the greenhouse builder Rabensteiner | Das Glashaus, Blumen Risse has realized an innovative flower market in Hückelhoven (DE) on time and on budget in only nine months of construction. Blumen Risse was supported by Rabensteiner from the initial idea to the handover of the keys. The Rabensteiner team took care of the overall planning and realization of the new concept.

New flower market concept
The official opening took place on March 2, 2023. The new flower market doesn't only offer a large selection of plants and gardening items but also an inspiring shopping experience with a new and appealing store concept. With its new flower market concept, Risse is pursuing the perfect mix of diverse and high-quality offerings in an area of 1,900 m². The project was tailored to the size of the site to maximize space utilization. The greenhouse is designed as a three-aisle wide-span structure, with the warm compartment as a flat-roof cube with a trapezoidal canopy to round out the modern building.

"Our team has been working hard to turn Blumen Risse's vision into reality, and we are sure that the new concept will be a great success," says Stephanie Mack, project manager at Rabensteiner | Das Glashaus. A real eye-catcher is the facade design and color choice. The ornamental facade bars made of wood aluminum in the corporate and complementary colors attract attention and have an enormous recognition value.

The brand's recognizability is supported by the architectural concept. In close cooperation with Blumen Risse, Rabensteiner integrated the corporate design into the building design. The result is a distinctive look that meets customers' expectations of an attractive shopping experience.
