Flower Festivals at Lithuanian Pakruojis Manor

Luxurious flower festivals are held not only in the Netherlands. You can enjoy the flower splendor, amazing colors, and richness of flower varieties at the Lithuanian Pakruojis Manor, which is located exactly in the middle between the two Baltic capitals, just a two-hour drive from Vilnius or Riga. The largest and most unique flower festivals in Northern Europe take place here. This year, for the second time, the guests of the Manor will enjoy the spring flower festival filled with the joy of awakening nature, which begins on May 7. Later, on July 6, the Fifth Festival of Summer Flowers will create an abundance of flowers, which will last until the first autumn frosts.

During the Spring Flower Festival, on an area of more than 10 hectares, you will be able to see more than 250 varieties of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, muscari, and other flowers grown from 5 million bulbs. The Manor’s florists created their own festival in collaboration with Netherlands breeders, inspired by the famous Amsterdam Tulip Festival. Particular attention in this project is paid not only to the color scheme and selected landscape ornaments but also to the height of the flowers and the period of their flowering.

The Summer Festival amazes us with its flower abundance. Here, surrounded by thousands of multi-colored summer plants, millions of flowers and compositions, flower sculptures of 2 - 6 meters high flaunt. Particular attention is paid to historical architectural scenery, where the flower installations are raised to a height of tens of meters and bloom in a wide variety of colors and perspectives. Visiting the impressive flower gardens of Pakruojis Manor, you will discover that not only flowers but also vegetables – tomatoes, cabbage, artichokes, pumpkins, beetroot, and others – have the magic power of flowering and beauty.

Pakruojis Manor is not only the largest manor complex in Lithuania but also one of the 18 most attractive cultural tourism destinations in Europe, which received the title of “Tourist Site of 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022” in Lithuania. And most importantly – here, the life of the 19th century is in full swing! At the Manor, you can visit the workshops of local artisans, take photos in an old photo studio, ride a camel and carousel, see collections of vintage cars and motorcycles, gambling machines of the last century, retro costumes, unique perfumes, as well as a luxurious collection of hunting birds. There are several restaurants on the territory of the Manor, where you can enjoy traditional and modern Lithuanian dishes in an authentic atmosphere, as well as tinctures and cognac wines made at the Manor. There are two hotels for the guests: a luxurious boutique hotel in the main building of the Manor and a cozy hotel in the Miller’s House.
