After years of breeding efforts, the collaboration between breeding companies Agriverco Genetics and Labreco Europe has resulted in the launch of a new lavender stoechas. Christened 'Purple Rain "AGRI812"', the variety is said to be 'the only hanging lavender in the world'.
Starting material is produced in Uganda, and at the moment hard work is underway to achieve global coverage to provide planting material to growers. Rooted cutting is available immediately to growers in the EU and the US.
