The Secret Garden Boutique is up and running. A pop-up lifestyle centre in Aalsmeer, where in addition to fresh flowers, plants and silk flowers, a wide range of home deco products such as pots, vases and other decoration can be purchased directly from leading suppliers in India and China. This cross-selling concept targets traders, specialists and retail in both the ornamental and home deco sectors.
The Secret Garden Boutique eliminates the need to travel far to buy, as pre-order-based purchasing can be done directly from the source with delivery times of only 12 to 16 weeks.
The Secret Garden Boutique can be visited by appointment at Perfume Flower Company's greenhouse.
The concept of The Secret Garden Boutique was developed in collaboration with Parfum Flower Company, florist Bart Bressser and 2dezign, after which it was further rolled out with several more 'partners in trends'. This has ensured that with The Secret Garden Boutique, a slice of India, China, Europe, Africa and South America have been brought together. Offering a buying combination in this way is to the customer's advantage as it buys directly from the source with the advantage that buyers can still make real margins here. The pop-up shape with which The Secret Garden Boutique has been set up also contributes to this, as can be seen in the various photos
Up-to-date and trend-conforming
Pascal Koeleman of 2Dezign explains: "With Secret Garden Boutique, we bring together a range of over 6,500 home deco products, fresh flowers and plants, silk flowers, pots, vases and accessories at one central location. The home deco products represent its own collection, current and trend-conforming presence in all possible colour themes and a collection of unique and beautiful products for indoor and outdoor in the latest trend colours."
Cross selling

Just making money
Because at Secret Garden Boutique, buying directly from the source results in a better price and therefore simply means making money, Pascal explains. "It actually works the same as buying plants and flowers at the auction clock or directly from the grower. Only now they are home deco products. A big advantage is not having to go to India or China for it, because placing a pre-order can simply be done over a cup of coffee in the showroom in Aalsmeer, which already results in immediate savings. The approach is transparent, because basically, such a pre-order works the same as clock pre-sales, but with a delivery time a few weeks later. And for large quantities, a quotation can be requested. Having your own label or packaging is also one of the options.
