gems group and World Class Flowers become one

The companies announced a strategic merger that will integrate both entities under the “gems group” name.

“Together with our farm, Jardines de los Andes, we see great value in joining as one grower and marketer to serve our partners and friends across the country”, said Carlos Oramas who will continue as CEO of the combined companies.

Both organizations have been repeatedly recognized for their customer focus and consistent quality.

World Class Flowers, a floral distributor founded in 1981, is well known for its extensive line of bouquets, bunches, and arrangements. Established in 2003, “gems” partners with retailers on consumer-packaged flowers and custom lines of distinctive floral products.
Sofia Herrera, of Jardines de los Andes, added “This step builds on many years of collaboration and formalizes a common vision and strategy”.

The company will be headquartered in Miami with a regional facility in New Jersey.
