Eason Horticultural Resources has released the EHR 101, previously known as The EHR CAST Report or EHR New Varieties Lookbook. "Why the name change, you may wonder? Our journey begins on the 101 in CA but doesn't stop there as we traverse the various trial locations across the US. This is the 19th year we have been reporting on new varieties, and while many of these selections are made at CAST, we also evaluate selections at various trials to share with you what we believe to be some of the best new introductions," they claim.
"Please join us on our journey throughout the 2023 trial season with this first look at what we believe to be the most outstanding new varieties introduced. In the booklet, we not only share with you our favorite plants but the teams that have brought them to you. Compiled by EHR sales reps and the office team, we select new plants across all breeders to bring you an objective opinion on what we feel are some of the best new genetics to be introduced," they state.
"Over the years, we have very much enjoyed this journey, and we invite you to come along! At the end of the summer season, we'll release an update on these new items, including any overlooked varieties we find along the way. We welcome anyone to contribute trial notes, photos, and comments."
