Positive atmosphere at Plantarium|Groen-Direkt

Plantarium|Groen-Direkt took off yesterday, August 23, in Hazerswoude-Dorp, the Netherlands, and is ending today. There was an overall positive atmosphere at the fully booked exhibition floor, as growers seem to have had a good season so far compared to 2022.

This year was the second edition with the new layout of this garden event, and it attracted many visitors again. The aisles were crowded with visitors from all over Europe and beyond.

From up left clockwise: the team of Van Hemert & Co Zaden; grower Valkplant wins the Best Novelty Award with a new Diervilla splendens; Jolanda Steenvoorden and Inge Schalke with MPS; and a peek into that part of the fair where growers from all over Europe present their assortment

The show highlights everything the tree nursery sector has to offer. Novelties are presented, new trends become visible, and many suppliers, from breeding to logistics and from marketing to pots and trays, come out of the woodwork to show what they've got.

Our Bpnieuws and FloralDaily team were also present to learn more about the market and to make our photo reports, so stay tuned!
