Breeder Arthur Maj proudly presents the two awards his Miscanthus sinensis ‘Silver Charm’ PBR won. Silver Charm was introduced to the market in 2023 and has already been awarded Gold for Best Plant and Journalists’ Award at the international trade fair Green is Life in Warsaw.
Distinguished by flowering
After the success of his Miscanthus Bouclé, Plantipp was proud to represent a new elephant grass by Arthur Maj. This variety is distinguished by its abundant, spectacular flowering with showy flower panicles that start boasting silvery colors, which slowly change to intense white. The elegant, arching stems create a fountain-like effect, adding even more spectacle to this showy plant.
Decorative value
Miscanthus Silver Charm is floriferous and flowers from September to the early frost. The panicles retain their decorative value long after flowering. Silver Charm is low maintenance and not sensitive to pests and diseases, which makes it ideal for hedges, borders, patios, and prairie gardens.
