GlobalGAP prepares the industry for integrated farm assurance version 6

In anticipation of the mandatory implementation of the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) version 6 standard set to take effect in January 2024, the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat is taking proactive steps to ensure the industry is well-prepared. Following the success of last year's informative webinars, the organization is delighted to announce a second series of free webinars aimed at guiding stakeholders through the adoption of the new standard.

The "transitioning to IFA Version 6" webinar series has been designed to offer participants a comprehensive understanding of the revised standard, incorporating new principles and criteria that will shape the future of agricultural practices.

One key feature of this webinar series is its specific focus on the floriculture and ornamentals sector, catering to the unique needs and challenges faced by producers in this field. Leading these sessions will be Juan Carlos Isaza, Senior Technical Expert in Floriculture at GLOBALG.A.P.. He joined GLOBALG.A.P. in 2019, focusing on the flowers and ornamentals standard and the add-on and stand-alone module on environmental metrics (Impact-Driven Approach to Sustainability), facilitating the Focus Group, supporting producers, certification bodies, and Farm Assurers on Flowers and Ornamental topics.
