India: KF Bioplants visited by Dutch delegation during Trade Mission

The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mumbai & the Dutch Embassy in Delhi organized a Trade Mission visit to KF Bioplants in Pune, India on September 12. This delegation included the participants of the Sustainable Food System Track. "They were quite impressed with the facility, innovations, and adaptation of new technology and automation," says Ashish Phadke, KF Bioplants' General Manager of Marketing.

During this visit, Phadke, together with Ms. Yashodini Kulkarni (VP Production), Jaywant Patil (GM Production), Javed Haider (GM Greenhouses), Ms. Harshada Joshi (Sr. Lab Manager) gave them a detailed tour of their plant tissue culture facilities with 100% controlled greenhouses.

"The visitors were apprised about our organization, values, and mission of KF Bioplants, business module, operational best practices, challenges & opportunities, and key factors for the Indo-Dutch collaboration success story for the last 28 years. The delegation also interacted with Kishore Rajhans (Director, KF Bioplants) on the possible scope for the collaborations (for the Dutch stakeholders) in India through various sectors. Kishore Rajhans also shared our experience with doing business and collaborating with the Netherlands. The delegation was quite impressed with the excellent facility, innovations, and adaptation of new technology, automation, etc."
