Every year, Flowervision in Norwich, UK, organizes an open day for customers. During this day, two Flower Circus shows were organized. Snacks and drinks were also provided, and there was even a food truck was present.
The fact that the open day has now become a household name for the customers was evident from the number of visitors. At the morning show, there were so many visitors that chairs had to be added to ensure that everyone had a seat.
Belgian flower-arranging champion Stefan van Berlo was the arranger this time. Together with John Elstgeest, they put on an informative and entertaining show. Stefan made several arrangements in the autumn and Christmas themes so that florists could get back to work with enough inspiration.
"The visitors were not only interested in the new varieties supplied by the growers and breeders who were participating in the show. They were also keen to hear what steps the companies are taking and have already taken to grow even more sustainably," John explained. "The UK florist is very conscious about this. It is clear that companies that are committed to making production more sustainable have an edge with buyers."
