Countdown to National Tulip Day

TPN chairman Arjan Smit said that "last January, after some 10 years on Dam Square, we celebrated Tulip Day at Amsterdam's Museumplein for the first time. We and the public loved it. Of course, the goal is for all this cheerfulness to spread over the rest of our country and the world because Dutch tulips are for everyone!"

National Tulip Day will be all about music. Arjan Smit said that "the Museumplein, with its many cultural institutions, will offer plenty of inspiration. Last year, we made a nice reference to the Johannes Vermeer exhibition in the Rijksmuseum, and this time, we are making a connection with music. Of course, this is reflected in the garden design. Other musical tulip surprises are still in development!" TPN's social media channels are also being used to add luster to the start of the new cutting tulip season. Tulip growers, florists, supermarkets, and retailers nationwide are being asked to display the special "It's Time for Tulips" flag again. Due to high demand, TPN has a new stock available.
