Last Thursday was the eighth NIMA Floriculture Marketing Event in the Netherlands. More than 100 marketers from that sector attended, immersing themselves in the digitalization of the flower industry of the future.
That happened via a series of presentations from those from within and outside of the sector. After a tour of the host location, Boerderij Het Lansingerland, and an opening word from NIMA president (and Erfgoed director) Cock van Bommel, the following speakers took the floor in order:
- Sherelle Schmidt, Shopper Marketeer at Bloemenbureau Holland, and Irene Eijs, Data strategy & analytics Director at the Matter Content Agency
- Nancy van Kleef, Strategy, Marketing & CSR Director of the FM Groep, and Joël Van Den Hoogen, Creative Director at the Twan Creative Agency
- Martin de Ruiter, Floriday's Commercial Manager
- Wilco Verdoold, AI lecturer at Hogeschool van Amsterdam;
- Henk van Dongen, Manager Value Team Manure at Lely International
The organizers are calling it a successful event and cordially invite interested parties to the planned ninth edition. It will be on March 21, 2024, at a location still to be announced.
