Nepal: Kaligandaki exports flower worth Rs 2 million

Kaligandaki Rural Municipality of Syangja district has exported flowers worth Rs 2 million in this festive season.

The flowers produced by the locals in the rural municipality have been exported to the cities of Pokhara, Butwal, and Kathmandu.

Chief of Agriculture Section of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality Anup Paudel said that the flowers worth Rs 2 million, produced by 16 farmers and groups from seven wards of the rural municipality, have been exported so far. The rural municipality has provided 50 percent grants to the flower producers in Kaligandaki.
