Director General Floriculture Parks and Gardens visit Poonch as B2V5 concludes

The Back to Village- V (B2V5) program was conducted successfully in Panchayat Shiendra Lower of Block Lassana, District Poonch, where Jatinder Singh JKAS Director General Floriculture Parks and Gardens was deployed as the Prabhari/Visiting Officer. Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Shri Wajahat Bhukhari, along with all the Panches and I/c Sec Pyt. Sh. Vinamar Sharma, along with other PRI members, Frontline Workers Officers/Officials of the different Department & huge numbers local public of Panchayat, participated in the two-day activities of B2V5.

During the programme, the Parbhari Officer highlighted the major demands of this Panchayat in past years their redressal and also listened to the current demands projected by PRI members & and local people of the Panchayat. The Prabhari Officer, while reviewing the implementation of Government Schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, MGNREGA, 14th FC PMJJY, PMSBY, APY & PMJDY, PMAY, Aapki Zameen Apki Nigrani, Pension Schemes of Social Welfare, Fasal Beema Yojana, Cattle Insurance, Amrit Sarovars established, ODF Plus etc, stressed upon the people of the Panchayat to utilize all the 1075 online services launched by the Government so that they can avail the benefits of all the above schemes.

District Development Commissioner Poonch Sh. Mohd. Yasin Choudhary, IAS, along with the Prabhari Officer, conducted a grievance redressal camp in the Govt. Higher Secondary School Shiendra, where a large number of people of the Panchayat were present.

Different beneficiaries of the Panchayat were provided seeds through the Agriculture Department, and Land Pass books prepared by the Revenue Department were also distributed to the different beneficiaries of the Panchayat by the District Development Commissioner and the Parbhari Officer. A yoga session was also held by the students in the Panchayat, where prominent citizens of the Gram Panchayat were present. A friendly Volleyball match was also organized in the school by the students. Prizes were also given to the students who participated in different activities, and award-winning students were felicitated by Prabhari Officer and District Development Commissioner Poonch.
