The Ronald Moerings Foundation (RMF) handed over its annual donation to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AVL) Foundation on Friday, November 24. The company, consisting of 40 green entrepreneurs, was a guest at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam to announce this year's proceeds.
The highlight of the gathering was the presentation of the check by Fiona Moerings, representative of the Ronald Moerings Foundation, to Henri van Luenen, Director of Operations of the AVL. The impressive contribution of €129,300 will be used directly for cancer research.
In addition to the RMF donation, checks were also handed over by Pieter Heemskerk of alltheway EFI (€43,500), Karin van der Eijk of the VDE plant (€7,500), and Martens Tweewielers of (€5,800), bringing this year's total to a magnificent €186,100.
After the handover, the company was given a fascinating tour of the AVL hospital's research lab, also by Henri van Luenen, director of operations. The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Foundation's research institute houses approximately 800 scientists who conduct cancer research 24/7.
The Ronald Moerings Foundation is proud of its 40 entrepreneurs who contribute directly to the AVL through the AVL Foundation, with every euro going directly to cancer research. Companies who also want to contribute to this worthwhile cause are invited to find more information on the website ronaldmoeringsfoundation.nl. Together, they are striving for a world without cancer.
