In 2023, G2Energy installed a solar thermal system for a bulb grower in Vijfhuizen. The system consists of 24 collectors and a stainless steel boiler with a capacity of 8,000 liters for storing the heated water. The entire solar thermal project covers about 166 m² and is installed in a south-facing position on the roof of the flower grower's building.
Thanks to this solar thermal project, the bulb grower can sustainably heat his storage spaces, thereby saving on gas bills.
